Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a system of integrative medicine that involves the practice of penetrating the skin with thin, solid, metallic disposable sterile needles which are then activated through gentle and specific movements of the practitioner's hands or with electrical stimulation. Used to alleviate pain and to treat various physical, mental, and emotional conditions. Originating in ancient China, acupuncture is now widely practiced in the West.
Acupuncture is part of the ancient practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners believe the human body has more than 2,000 acupuncture points connected by pathways or meridians. These pathways create an energy flow (Qi, pronounced "chee") through the body that is responsible for overall health. Disruption of the energy flow can cause disease. By applying acupuncture to certain points, it is thought to improve the flow of Qi, thereby improving health.
Studies have shown that acupuncture is effective for a variety of conditions.

Yoga & Yoga Workshops
Yoga is a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. It is an art and science of healthy living. The word 'Yoga' is derived from the Sanskrit root 'Yuj', meaning 'to join' or 'to yoke' or 'to unite'.
Yoga is not stretching, it actively requires you to perform a series of postures or poses at various levels of difficulty. Stretching entails moving your muscles through their full range of motion as passively as possible.
Yoga is not solely based on Asana (yoga postures). It is much more deep and enlightening. There are eight limbs of yoga; yama (abstinences), niyama (observances), asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breath control), pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation) and samadhi (absorption).

Thai Massage
Traditional Thai Massage is the type of massage that's based on pressure points along ten key energy lines of the body, which control all physical, mental, and emotional processes. If there's an energy imbalance, the body's harmony is disrupted causing pain and disease. By massaging along these key energy lines we can break energy blockage, stimulate circulation and restore general wellness. In this form of massage oil is not used. The massage is performed on a mat with the recipient fully clothed in loose fitting clothing: top and pants. The movement therapist employs a variety of yoga stretches to improve range of motion and deep-pressure massage to stimulate circulation. For the complete Thai Massage experience, please request a 2 hour session combining Traditional Thai Massage with Thai Foot Reflexology.
Ayurveda
Ayurveda
A natural system of medicine, originated in India more than 3,000 years ago. The term Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (science or knowledge). Thus, Ayurveda translates to knowledge of life. The science of Ayurveda considers the human body an inverted tree, where the roots are at the top and the branches are pointing downwards. Here, the head is considered to be the roots, the thorax and the abdomen are said to be the trunk, and the limbs are the branches. Just like roots nurture a tree, the head is the operational center of the entire body. It consists of the brain which is the seat of consciousness and the sense organs with which we interact. Marmas, or life centers, are the vital points in the body where the Prana or energy is converted, regulated, and stored for use by the body and mind. They are also the sites of the Tridoshas – Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. It is generally accepted that there are around 107 Marma points throughout the body, where 12 are classified as Padu Marmas (vital life centers), many of which are located in the head and neck region. This shows how critical the head and neck region are to our physio-psychological functioning.
Abhyanga
Prepare yourself for a long, relaxing massage that warms your body and soul. Abhyanga is often referred to as the "Ayurvedic full body massage", and it's used in ancient Indian medicine to help treat stress and depression, improve digestion, circulation and promote relaxation and a sense of calm.

If love іѕ thе panacea, then аn Ayurvedic оіl mаѕѕаgе іѕ a great way tо get a good dоѕе of unсоndіtіоnаl love. We use sesame oil for Abhyanga massage, as it is the traditional oil of choice for Ayurveda. It is rich in linoleic acid, and has anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Shiro Abhyanga
Shiro Abhyanga is a Sanskrit term comprised of two words: Shiro (head) and Abhyanga (massage). Shiro Abhyanga essentially means a complete massage of the head, neck, and shoulders using Ayurvedic herbal oils. These are the areas that are most affected by stress, which is why Shiro Abhyanga is beneficial in reducing pain and stress in these regions.

Ayurvedic influenced aesthetics are rooted in the principles of Ayurveda, an ancient Indian system of medicine and holistic healing that dates back thousands of years. Ayurveda emphasizes balance and harmony between mind, body, and spirit to achieve overall well-being. This philosophy extends to various aspects of life, including beauty and aesthetics.
